VOLUNTEER
Volunteer for a better democracy
FairVote Minnesota is driven by volunteer power. This year, we’ll be educating voters and training candidates and their teams running in five cities using RCV: Bloomington, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park and St. Paul.
Opportunities include making calls, connecting with voters at events, tabling, door knocking, data entry, hosting a “Rank Your Vote” demonstration event, and Get-Out-The-Vote efforts on Election Day in 2021.
If you are willing to volunteer to advance better democracy in your community, please select your volunteer interests below:
- Phone banking
- Voter outreach
- Help educate voters about RCV local elections
- Write a letter to the editor educating my community about RCV
- Host a (virtual) house party to educate friends or community group about RCV
If you don’t have time to volunteer, consider making a gift to FairVote Minnesota to show your support for this inclusive, commonsense electoral reform. Every dollar counts!

Rank Your Vote is a project of FairVote Minnesota, a nonprofit, nonpartisan election reform organization that engages hundreds of volunteers and thousands of supporters. Together, we work for a stronger democracy through public education and advocacy for Ranked Choice Voting, a system proven to be more inclusive, democratic, and representative than our current plurality electoral system. We educate and support candidates, elected officials, cities and voters in preparation for RCV elections.
