Laura Calbone and Marcia Wattson deserve much appreciation for spearheading a one-and-a-half year, sustained effort to successfully help pass ranked-choice voting in Bloomington with the assistance of many dedicated volunteers.
Hopefully most of those who were opposed may come to recognize the many advantages of this voting system. The road is being well paved to pass ranked-choice voting in Minnesota, and then onward to introduce and pass it nationwide.
